 Robotech
the Macross saga is the first series of the Japanese
Anime formerly called Macross purchased
by Harmony Gold and one of the first hit
Japanese animation to hit the American Market. Robotech: The
Macross saga starts off with an alien space craft crash landing
on the earth which will halt World War 3 because of the new
knowledge that there is something more out in the universe.
The world leaders get together to research and build Robotechnology.
Which will lead to aircraft that can travel in earth and in
outer space that have the ability to transform into battloids.
Aliens
come for the crashes spacecraft only to find out the inhabitance
of the planet Earth have completely remodeled and transformed
the craft. Because of the attack the craft now called the
SDF-1 must leave the earth to draw the alien
fire and use the new Fold System which launches the craft
all the way past Pluto. The inhabitance of the craft must
now make their way back to earth while defending their ship
against the alien attackers the Zentradi.
