Brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric are strolling through the desert as they come upon a city in the middle of no where. As they foriage for water they hear rumors of someone who offers miracles in the name of Sun God. Both Edward and Al are suspicious that the person creating miracles is actually just using Alchemy. they meet the man creating miracles named Cornel, and he is wearing a ring that they believe is the legendary Philosiphers stone which is the exact item Edward and Al have been looking for. But they also know that Cornel is a con man and he is giving te towns people false hope miracles which is actually alchemy.
